Abstract
Letter to the Editor: The well-cited Benavides et al. (2017) paper is riddled with errors. The abstract's claim that plastic-derived fuels have 96% lower fossil fuel consumption than Ultra-Low Sulfur Diesel is contradicted by the text. Sources are not disclosed, so the study is not replicable.
